Paddle: alutech flat blade
The traditional paddler will appreciate this very light weight and efficient asymmetrical flat blade. Designed to create sufficient drive without stressing the paddler, it is a medium volume paddle for general sea kayaking and touring. The strong spine ensures the blade remains in shape as pressure is applied and reduces flexing to help retain energy transfer. The full carbon blades are vacuum bagged for uniformity and a beautiful finish. The alutech blades are stronger and lighter than fibreglass and only slightly heavier than carbon. The carbon shafts are available in a variety of popular lengths from stock and can be finished to specific lengths to order.
The 2-piece paddle is adjustable for length over 7cms marked on the ferrule with feather angles marked on the screw joint. The 2-piece paddle makes an excellent and affordable spare paddle for touring and expedition use.
