This boat is developed from the South African Fishing Kayak. Launched from Durban beaches, believe it or not, these boats are used to fish off shore for billfish. They are the real thing.

This is a serious fibreglass boat, light and repairable. Its design enables it to keep a straight course effortlessly and it has bait and dry storage.

It has proved itself in the Indian ocean with kayakers being towed many kilometres by their catches.  We use them ourselves and find them excellent for getting to those remote spots in around sand banks for bass fishing.  At 20kg, 44lbs it is lighter than plastic sit on's.
