An all-in-one waistband towrope in an easy to use throwbag.
A stainless steel carabiner hook on a 10mm multiplait rope (7.5m) contained in nylon throwbag attached to an elasticated waistband with a quick release buckle. This can function as both a traditional throwbag, or as an all-in-one towrope. The carabiner is housed in its own special pocket and the red, water resistant material bag has high visibility material stitched onto the outside. Once used the rope is easy to repack for a tangle free flow next time. A very versatile and important piece of kit that is affordably priced from KAYAK UK. Ideal for river guides and sea or river kayakers who are serious about safety. Unlike many other systems this one requires only a single handed approach, it can be passed between paddlers, can be used for both water based rescues and those performed from the river bank or shore and it is not linked to your PFD. The stretch in the waistband is essential for towing over any distance. We have also found it extremely useful for hauling fully loaded kayaks over sandbanks.
