The Boxter is a 17' bow rider ski boat. It was designed and re tuned over the years to be used in South African water skiing competitions and it is very good at its job.
This boat gets on to the plane very quickly, it is surprisingly light given its sturdy construction. When getting onto the plane there is no bow rise the boat is up and off, our demo with a 90 two stroke was capable of speeds up to 50mph and was extremely agile and safe in the turn. That boat is now based at Loch Lomond powered by a 135 Hp! (owner fitted).
The design came about in 1990 and soon caught on it has been tweaked over the years but a new deck was created in 2002, the design has remained unchanged ever since.
